After a couple weeks of alpha testing we are proud to announce that beta 1 for CommunitySEO 2.0 is now available. We would like to thank everyone testing the software, especially those brave enough to do so in a live environment to help us squash the bugs quicker.
CommunitySEO 2.0 Alpha 1 was time restricted to expire on July 15th. CommunitySEO 2.0 Beta 1 is time restricted to expire on July 31st. If you are using alpha 1 you should upgrade to beta 1 (an upgrade path is available with the download using the IPB upgrader).
There are no additional or changed file edits. To upgrade, upload the new files and visit yoursite.com/admin/upgrade/ and follow the instructions. We have noticed one oddity in testing - you will need to login to your admin CP upon upgrading CommunitySEO, visit Manage Applications on the first tab, and click the button to "Rebuild FURL cache" afterwards.
There are approximately 8 fixed bugs in this beta release. Testing has been going well so far and we hope to have a final version out by the end of the month, pending reports from beta testers. If you have already asked to beta test the new release and have been given a link to download the package, just redownload it. The existing package was updated. If you would like to test the new software (you must have an existing license) please submit a ticket.
