Hi. I've been looking for a mod like this for a while now and have yet to find one. The features I'd like this mod to have might be fairly complex but I know pretty much exactly what I want and am able to describe further if there is any clarification needed. I help run a roleplay forum and several of our members have more than one account that they post with. It's a really big hassle to log in and out of your accounts, especially if you have a lot of posts to make.
Features:
'Links' multiple accounts together - In the User CP, I would like there to be a link that says "Link Accounts". When this is clicked, I'd like for it to lead to a page where it shows what accounts you are already linked to and a drop down list of other accounts on the site. (like so: http://balancing-perfection.net/imgs/accountlinking.png (this is an ipb 1.3 forum and the person who wrote the mod won't let it be used anywhere else) Once you choose what account you'd like to link to, I'd like it to send a PM to the requested account asking to accept or decline the linking, to ensure members don't link to accounts that aren't theirs.
Ability to remove linking - Say if you drop a character, you can remove the link to your main account.
Posting - When in the post screen, I'd like members to be able to choose what account to post from if they are linked to any other accounts. This would preferably be in a drop down list format that lists the accounts your main account is linked to (In this picture, Annabelle is the main account, but the format of the way the account being posted with is not one I like. http://balancing-perfection.net/imgs/accountlinking2.png). I'd also like the post incrementation to go up on the account that was chosen to be posted with. So say you're on account 'George' which is linked to 'Robert' and 'Chris'. You decide to post and choose account 'Robert'. The post incrementation wouldn't go up on 'George' or 'Chris'.
If this is possible on a 2.3.6 board, I would really appreciate some custom work done on our forums. We have no deadline that we need this by, either. Thank you!
