Getting your answers as fast as possible.

If your support questions are not being answered the way you want (i.e. In 1-2 days) then that is probably because members have skipped past your post. To avoid this from happening here are some quick tips on what to do.

Use Accurate Post Titles

To ensure you are getting support from a expertise in the issue you are having (i.e. Modification issues or skin issues) make sure that your title attracts that member with things like "Columns not centred on skin" or "modification XXXX is giving me an error", if you just write things like "help" or "hlp" then it is more likely than not that your post will be ignored and closed due to inactivity.

Be as Descriptive as Possible

This, I thought, would be an obvious one, when you are next posting a help request ask yourself the following question "If I read this post without seeing the error, could I understand what it is saying?" If the answer is yes hit submit if not, go back and re-type it". We cannot force you to type your posts in a certain way but I would suggest using the following template to help your support.

Issue you are facing: << So that we know exactly what is going on, and why.
What you do to cause this issue: << We can repeat these steps and hopefully diagnose the problem.
Is it a one off or can it be repeated: << Sometime errors fix themselves
Other information we should know (other mods installed): << Because we are nosey <_< (used to see if mods are conflicting)

Protecting yourself
Never paste a screen shot of your admin cp with a url in the address bar, go full screen (F11) then paste it.
Also only give your admin account details to Source and iPBFree staff (recognisable by their coloured group names)

Following all of the above should get your forums issues resolved and keep your board secure, enjoy your time here at the source.

Connor,

Source support Team.
